You may recognize him from his video that went viral last year of him covering the classic Boyz II Men hit, “On Bended Knee.” Sunday morning, June 11, 2017 in Maryland, 29-year-old Dr. Brandon Rogers was tragically killed in a car accident.
According to TMZ, “Maryland State Troopers, officers responded around 4:30 AM Saturday for a car that had crashed into a tree.” There were two passengers inside the vehicle, including Brandon. The driver was able to walk away unscathed while the other passenger was rushed to the hospital. Brandon later passed as a result of his injuries.
A few months back, Boyz II Men asked Dr. Rogers to perform 3 nights with them after discovering his viral video.

Today our hearts are deeply saddened to learn about the sudden death of Dr. Brandon Rogers. A few moths back we brought this young man out to the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas to perform with us. He was great all 3 nights! Just a genuinely nice person and a really good singer! Gone too young and gone too soon. It hurts to know that the world will never have a chance to witness what his impact on the world could have been as a Doctor and even on the music world. A great spirit and a great voice. Even for the little time we knew you you will be sorely missed. May God Bless, keep and comfort your family in this difficult time.
Dr. Rogers was also apart of the latest season of America’s Got Talent. His performance was scheduled to air in a few weeks. This is extremely sad news and I’m honestly still in shock as I unfortunately have to create this post.
Dr. Rogers has touched so many people by being a Doctor, and his beautiful voice was (and still is) an added bonus. Watching his videos, you can feel his warm and positive spirit.
Our deepest condolences go out to all of his loved ones and may Dr. Rogers rest well.
A message from his brother…
