Hmmm…this is a tricky question. Never say never, but it wouldn’t be my first choice. The thing about dating someone who is bisexual is that there are always thoughts of “when is he going to switch back over to dating women?” or “maybe he doesn’t feel like having sex with a me today–maybe he wants a woman.”
Lets say I was dating someone who happened to be bisexual. Would I be willing to have an open-relationship? Honestly, I don’t even know if I would even be able to HANDLE an open-relationship. I would like to THINK that I could, but at what point would I feel inadequate because I wasn’t able to satisfy ALL of my partners sexual needs?
On the other hand, this alludes to the idea that all bisexual people are cheaters which is an unfair assumption and is simply not true. People who are attracted to men AND women should not be oversexualized just like gay people should not be looked upon as hyper-sexual beings. Some people just naturally have more of an open-mind when it comes to finding love and this definitely is not a bad thing.
So with that in mind, I guess I would be open to dating someone who is bisexual. Besides, how much control do we really have with who we fall in love with?
